Join us for a healing and community-building discussion with Joëlle Kabisoso, Kanishia Mensah, and Chantal Gray from Sisters in Sync, a Black-focused organization based in Hamilton, dedicated to building pathways to empowerment for Black women and non-binary individuals, assisting and advocating for victims of sexual violence and assault, and supporting the healing and community building of the Black community.
This discussion will be specific to cultural identity and aspects of university culture, sexual assault and navigation, and self-preservation as a Black female and non-binary individuals with a specific focus on resiliency, resetting, self-care, and recreation! Art-making activities will be provided throughout as well as a catered Lunch!
