Dr. Warner has been part of the McMaster community for over 50 years as a professor, mentor, and friend. On campus, he has served in numerous roles, including Associate Dean of Humanities and Director of the Arts & Science Program. Warner’s dedication to promoting human rights and battling discrimination continues to be pivotal beyond Hamilton – in 2005, Dr. Warner was named into the Order of Canada, and in 2020 was presented with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree.
